Samsung PN59D8000 59-Inch 1080p 600Hz 3D Plasma HDTV

I bought this to exchange a 65″ Vizio LCD-LED Cinema 3d tv I returned (spider, corner flash lighting effects, etc.) and I couldnt be happier. I did so a LOT of research prior to purchasing (as I do with the Vizio) and after experiencing the PN59D8000 passive 3 dimensional (aka Cinema) on the Vizio I was pleasantly suprized with all the Active 3d – It’s overall a greater quality experience. Having said that 2d was my own main focus for that televisions performance this also tv did not i want to down. Blu-rays and Playstation 3 slim games look amazing! Couldn’t be more happy with the purchase along with one exception…as much have pointed out there’s a subtle “buzzing” noise (standard for plasmas) which reaches just audible at minimal or muted quantities – I can barely hear it and could be fixed if transferred away from the wall. Can not really comment on the tv screen speakers as I work with a Onkyo HT-S9400THX 7.1 method for all things sound. FYI if you are looking to get a superior surround system but don’t have the period or knowledge to piece one together I recommend the Onkyo HT-S9400THX 6.1 – a little pricier than the popular HTIB systems (I possessed a panasonic) but the beat for the buck can be unmatched. Playing Battleground 3 (PS3) about this setup is a fantasy – nearby explosions may have your heart-racing.

Sony BRAVIA KDL55HX820 55-Inch 1080p 3D Passed HDTV

Awesome TV along with outstanding picture and extremely sharp looking in and of itself. Extremely easy to unpack Sony KDL55HX820 and setup so you will be able to start watching speedily. All the features you would expect of a high-quality HDTV. I certainly like the picture & picture (side by side) and how you are able to control the individual sized each picture by using the up & down arrows on the remote – awesome. Just starting to play around along with5 streaming TV just like Amazon Prime, and so forth. Gotta’ love ability to obtain Pandora and Slacker stereo too. I’ve been picking default settings for the time being, but will dig in to those also – and like additional reviewers have mentioned would be nice with an old-fashioned user manual you just read or something available on the internet (vs. i-manual about the TV itself). The particular sound is good for us without any extra loudspeakers or sound bars, but probably is dependent upon your expectations. Total great quality and great looking TV.

As for the true purchasing part of my own review, I’m a loyal amazon.com customer, but with respect to the TV low price ensure I’m disappointed. Although another web site (brand-new egg) had this specific TV for a reduced price (over $ 300 lower), amazon’s match (with all the current fine print involved) even now would cost me practically two-hundred dollars more than the other site. Bummer – My spouse and i typically like to buy from amazon, but not for your big of a difference on this TV.

Samsung UN55D6000 55-Inch 1080p 120Hz Extended HDTV

Finally purchased this Television set a week ago that i’m thoroughly satisfied. For the value this one cannot be passed upwards. I stood back and also looked at things i wanted from your TV which one suit you perfectly perfectly. I did not need Animations or web browsing so I passed on the other designs. I investigated the whole flashlighting issue thoroughly prior to making the purchase, you will find, there is a little bit of flashlighting present, however it is barely noticeable over a fully black screen…..I’d personally never have let this minor matter sway myself in my determination, just look around the web regarding proper options and the flashlighting issue will be minimum. The audio is also great for the style of this Television (super thin, rear-facing speakers) I was quite stunned. The picture top quality as mentioned by many people previous testers is absolutely gorgeous; Samsung Light emitting diodes are certainly market place leaders for the reason that accord, I became blown away through the clarity in the picture. My spouse and i mainly ordered this Tv set for gaming, and it provides the job done….It really is almost challenging to play the sport simply because they may be so much clearer now, I am just too busy taking in scenery to be bothered with all of the principal points whizzing by simply. Crystal clear and also liquid movement…looks incredible.

To sum up the particular review I would like to mention that Now i’m no A/V connoisseur, and for your average person I will be thoroughly pleased with this TV. I find the idea rather easy to overlook the edge gentle bleeding mainly because it’s BARELY noticeable. And for somebody that hasn’t assimilated themselves in to fancy speakers and high-dollar surround sound systems all of their life I’ll say the audio Samsung UN55D6000 from this Television is definitely up to par. Would I recieve one of these once more? Absolutely.

Sharp LC40LE835U Quattron 40-inch 1080p 240 Hz 3D LED-LCD HDTV

No way that this Lcd television deserves 5 stars. I had to send rear two faulty Sharp LC40LE835U products (clouding, audio problems as well as banding) to get a decent one (still with some clouding). I did not want to write about my own experience, but I didn’t have choice. After my personal encounter with the Sharp’s ineffective and unprofessional customer service (they hung up in me) the vividness point was reached. In addition, today Sharpened announced that the fresh firmware update is available, but I’m (not only me) UNABLE to download this. Without a new revise I’m unable to watch any apps which includes Netflix. The previous revise worked properly, but this does not work. This is really annoying.

Panasonic VIERA TC-P55VT30 55-inch 1080p 3D Plasma HDTV

First impressions : Overall first impression is I am happy with my decision to buy this TV over the Samsung 8000/7000 Series Directed and Plasma. That’s not me a fan of LCD/LED smoothing methods.

SHIPPING was slow considering I purchased it on Thursday and the first available date was Mon and after looking at the tracking it came from on the other side of the city. (I might have been capable of call them and get that earlier but I failed to check tracking until Friday). They unboxed the beast and put that on the included remain and lifted that onto our Entertainment Center. It has silicone pads on the bottom with the stand so you might need to put felt patches on the bottom if you want to get through to the back. I decided to hold the box they would get taking it away if I did not are interested. If you hang this specific TV make sure you mount it correctly using a massive mount, sheetrock by itself will not keep it.

FIRST Impacts it was a little grainy when I first turned it upon, but I have not seen that after the create screens. The display size is MASSIVE and the goblet panel anti-glare is very great (freaked out about scratches). The delivery guys left hand smudges on the glass which they told me many times their sorry and make certain I use a micro-fiber cloth to remove these people. I used the AR glass spray from my own glasses and its material and it came off without scratches.

1st Blu-Ray movie was incredibly clear. I turned on 24p playback and create the TV for THX display mode no other changes. My only additional HD TV is an outdated 42 LCD having its best feature is changing the screen element ratio, so it’s 24 / 7 between the two Televisions. I did notice without having the TV in THX function the screen really does fluctuate brightness if people are moving in the room or someone activates the light in the additional room. So far the actual fluctuation in settings (which I have seen is a concern in almost every Tv set that is “ECO” friendly provides this problem) has not been TC-P55VT30 too distracting and can seem to make the photograph look a little soft than I would like.
Once I have more time to use the online tools I will post more. A small problem I saw with internet “Viera” is to make sure your current Wi-Fi adapter is as far as possible from the Television set; I had some link issues when it has been sitting next to the Tv set.

Samsung PN51D450 51-Inch 720p 600Hz Plasma HDTV

I’ve had this TV for about 5 1/2 months now as well as am still excited with it. I had been considering a 42″ 720p Panasonic with IPTV features for about $700, but when I looked at my brand new living room, it was just going to be too small. So I shopped some more determined this 51″ beauty pertaining to $650.

I’ve never seen images this good to remember. The colors are perfect, the blacks are usually deep, the watching angle doesn’t eliminate until you’re powering the TV, the sound is good. If this Television set gives up anything to any 1080p unit, I can’t notify. I’ve seen some (high-priced) 1080p units that were only flat out disappointing or distracting to watch. Absolutely no such complaints with this TV. It has all the sharpness of HD with the richness of a tv TV.

One actual detractor: glare is a problem in the daytime if you have a lot of windows, but it’s not enough of a dilemma to make me require a different PN51D450 TV.

LG 47LK520 47-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV

I did a lot of study on all High definition tvs before buying this model. I’ve had mine for 6 months and no problems. It’s great especially for those that want to upgrade from the old tv tv to this Whirlpool 42LK520. It does have a lot of nice features yet is also very simple and can last a long time.

I found out the new LED versions are just LCD Hd tvs with an LED again light that might burn out faster than a normal LCD HDTV consequently that’s one of the reasons precisely why I chose this model.

The 1080pixel with the 120hz movement is the best way to go when you will get a very clear picture without any tracers that you might find with a 720p/60hz or 1080p/60hz so I highly recommend this Kenmore HDTV with the 1080p/120hz. Kenmore is one of the best High definition tv makers on the market. (Don’t purchase a Vizio, Phillips or Magnavox,(Phillips is the owner of Magnavox now) they’re all junk)!

I actually bought your LG 42LK520 from target.com and chosen it up at the store within 24 hours for $598.00 available for sale.

From all the critiques I read it seems that folks got confused with the way the energy saver mode performs, it’s very easy to either transform it down to the lowest establishing so it doesn’t get too dark or you can turn it off fully for standard illumination, there’s a green electricity mode button for the remote that allows you to speedily adjust it.

On the whole this LG 47LK520 model is right for people that don’t want to mess with a smart wifi internet connected HDTV however you can use this the 42LK520 as a PC monitor and connect a universal series bus device so that’s cool. It has 3 HDMI ports, coaxial cable port, usb slot, pc vga port, audio tracks ports, manual handle buttons on the correct side of the unit and good dimension remote with simplink.

Mitsubishi Diamond Series WD-73838 73-Inch 3D DLP HDTV

We love this TV! As advertised. Finest HD picture intended for the money. The first film we watched has been Avatar on Blueray and were in complete awe over the information, color vibrancy, contrast, etc. Also a extremely pleasant surprise is the 16-speaker immersive sound technology. We’ve no idea how they take action but we observed ourselves turning our heads to look to the side or behind us all at certain times throughout movies or even WD-73838 observing sports when you listen to voices and appears coming from different recommendations. That’s awesome!

The only reason I ranked 4 stars in lieu of 5 is that we simply used the TV for just two weeks before the light blew out. I’m hoping this is simply because of shipping, packing, storage, etc. Took [...] and obtained new under manufacturer’s warranty. Shipping in several business days. When not under warranty (1yr), the table lamps cost $100.

Panasonic VIERA TC-P50S30 50-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV

After owning this particular TV (60″ model) for a number of weeks now I can say I’m delighted overall. When I observed the TV out of the box with all the factory default options I was very unsatisfied and thought I might have to return the tv screen. The picture was darker and the brightness would likely change back and forth from gentle to dark. After playing with the settings a bit we were able to fix these issues. The picture quality is much better compared to the DLP TV that replaced. The greens are black as well as the colors are much a lot more crisp. I don’t have got BluRay so I do not know how it looks completely 1080p, but I’m delighted with the quality coming from my cable relationship. Some comments complain about the amount of heat the unit generates, on the other hand haven’t noticed a problem with that even when getting my hand right in the TV. The one thing you do need to keep in mind before choosing this TV (or even any plasma My partner and i imagine) is glare. Your screen is almost being a mirror. If you have any bright room you could be unhappy. Not that you must keep the room pitch black, but the a lot more light you have to arrive the more likely you are to discover some reflections on the watch’s screen. I do plan on getting the extended warranty. I’m not sure if plasmas tend to split any more than LCD’s or perhaps DLP’s. My Samsung DLP out of cash 4 times in the A few years I owned this. The last time it had been out of warranty and that i wasn’t going to dole out cash to have someone appear to look at TC-P50S30 it then hundreds more to solve it.

LG Infinia 42LV5500 42-Inch 1080p LED-LCD HDTV

The LG 47LV5500 being better than I expected that it is when I purchased it. The Smart home screen is extremely good way to organize everything I use the TV for on a daily basis. Being able to flow Netflix, MLB.television set and access movies/music/pictures coming from my WD MyBook hard drive implies I was able to fully replace my WD TV Live Plus along with my HDMI link to my computer. To make sure in the TV currently!

The TV is extremely slim. About 1.2″ thicker. It’s a great picture if you turn off TruMotion for movies. Still looks a little stuttery with sports however it definitely makes for a new crisp picture if you are using it. Still playing around with picture adjustments but the defaults will work fine for now.

Downsides: I’ve only read 42LV5500 the LG apps but they seem largely geared towards family/kids and not everything useful yet. Hopefully they can add a thing that will allow me to check on stocks at a glance or possibly sync with a private calendar? There’s no The planet pandora access from the TV which my WD Television Live DID possess so that was a step backwards. When you’re directing via DLNA you can’t change how the files present. The default display only shows the first 12-13 characters so long game titles are hard to read. In addition, there’s no flash abilities in the web browser. The special moment remote is exciting and convenient to use yet doesn’t work inside of Netflix even though it works within MLB.tv. Furthermore it’s very easy to screw up the alignment in the magic remote. Nevertheless, it’s equally as very easy to realign it so I guess we’ll get in touch with that a wash. Lastly, HDMI cables in the HDMI ports don’t appear to clip inside like my outdated LG tv did. Doesn’t give you that satisfying “it’s in” sound as well as feel.
