Panasonic VIERA TC-P65VT30 65-inch 1080p 3D Plasma HDTV

Overall this is a reasonable TV and I have to say that the quality and also the overall physical kind of the TV is great. Additionally, the service coming from CEVA who delivered the TV and also Amazon customer care was excellent. I only have one big problem with this TV, it simply doesn’t display the bright enough image for my tastes. I previously a Vizio LED TV that went out on me so as I’m sure nearly all of you reading this are going to do, I did research on which was the latest and greatest within TV picture quality. Someone Panasonic VIERA TC-P65VT30 said Cnet reviews, and many critiques on Amazon and many types of over the Web. Everyone appeared to think that the Panasonic VT30 has been the best TV presently out there so I went ahead and ordered this TV.

Negatives:

I have never had a plasma TV before so maybe this is why I was not impressed with this particular one. When watching any bright colours or white photographs the screen looked very dim and also the8 picture just will not pop out like it does on an LED Tv set. Another down side of this TV and most plasma televisions in general is that this Television set puts off a great deal of heat and I imply, a lot. I could tell that my living room would get considerably warmer when this Tv set was on. Additionally1, the Energy Guide’s rating saying this TV just uses about $24 is not completely true since this rating is for the standard configuration which can be almost unwatchable since it is very very dim. When effectively configured this Tv set will cost you more around $70-$100 per year in energy per year, which even now isn’t much a month but is worth talking about and since it also gives off so much heat it will likewise increase your electric bill even more since you will have to run the A/C more often.

Advantages:

Some good things about this kind of TV are the black levels are fantastic and as good because other reviews explained. Also, the glare wasn’t as much of an issue while i thought it would be since it has a sheet associated with glass covering the monitor. The glass have some sort of anti glare coating on it which was a good surprise. The sound quality actually wasn’t detrimental to regular TV sound system either.

Samsung UN40D6400 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz 3D Passed HDTV

Quite gradual to bring a photo to the monitor after original turn on but it will give you everything you need for today’s TV viewing.Such as very high volume control, notebook computer than many for a real slimline tv. I can’t comment on your 3D capacity as the eyeglasses didn’t feature the collection which Samsung UN40D6400 I uncover quite peculiar. The spectacles as an extra expense seems to conquer the whole point of purchasing a 3 dimensional option. How come manufacturers do that? Wouldn’t you imagine ” this is a 3D tv however you cannot view this characteristic unless you spend some more bucks to buy a fundamental element of it’s features” VERY WEIRD

Samsung UN46D8000 46-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D Ran HDTV

Just purchased this kind of beautiful piece of art, I am talking about television, on Thursday. I know that according to my preliminary technique set, I am inside complete awe. Installing was quick and simple, the set is not too heavy and in shape on a glass home furniture set I was earlier using with a Forty-six inch Samsung LCD TV. Like other evaluators, I think the base for this model is a little strange looking and form of clashes with the general design of the TV collection. However, I buy television sets for how good they search while watching and this tv set definitely delivers.

The picture quality is wonderful when playing High-definition signals. I did notice a little clouding during an all-black costume scenes in between stopages in movies, nevertheless nothing that would get me return the television. Regular DVD’s look great as well, but such things as compression and pixelation accomplish show up since every little thing looks so clear. I found that Motion picture mode reduces the amount present on the screen.

3D is also great. I acquired the Samsung Animations starter pack thats liable to bring the Shrek movie selection and the effects are phenomenal. I can just imagine what real 3D movies just like Avatar would seem like on this set. The particular 2D to 3 dimensional conversion on the television also works great, particularly with animated films. We tested the effect with Disney’s Beauty and the Animal Blu-ray (Non 3D launch), and it was magnificent, as if it had been stated in 3D. Both my wife’s jaw and my very own were on the floor through the test. I had your family over to watch Master of the Rings on Blu and they couldn’t feel how great everything looked.

The Smart Hub feature is actually hit or miss like other people state in their evaluations. The Netflix software was slow in order to load and sign in, and I accidentally used the wrong password inducing the Samsung UN46D8000 app to get trapped on the loading display screen without telling me that I had input an unacceptable code. I had to exit the program along with sign in again to get it to work. The picture top quality was pretty good, We tested Death Wish 2 in HD and although somewhat soft (which may have recently been the film itself) everything look High-definition. I was disappointed that the included keyboard rural does not allow you to key in titles on Blockbuster online search, instead having to use the arrows. This kind of sucks as one expects that to function across all apps included in the wise hub. I’ll stick to using my The apple company TV for netflix.

I did enjoy the Three dimensional samples included in the Intelligent Hub. This gives everyone who owns the television a new preview of how great things can look in Animations if they get the right equipment. My Xbox 360 worked great on the television set and the game mode although hidden deep in the menu method did improve the look of the game We tested. Arkham City starts the entire area of the screen and immerses you on the globe of the game. I can’t wait for my slow days to test all my favorite games on the television.

Samsung UN22D5003 22-Inch 1080p 120Hz Went HDTV

I’m thrilled with the TV itself, aside from the fact that it’s smaller than I was expecting. There’s only one major problem, however. When I acquired this, Amazon . com had it listed as 120hz. Regardless of reviews declaring otherwise, I assumed that Amazon would a minimum of be reputable in their product or service title/description. The fact that it is now listed as 60hz is incredibly annoying. I could get gotten a bigger 1080p tv for the same price, however purposely went for this a single because of the UN22D5003 supposed refresh charge. Now TV9 prices go back up since it is after dark Friday, and I’m left with something that’s completely different from the one I was promised. Thank you, Amazon.

Sony BRAVIA KDL55NX810 55-Inch 1080p 240 Hz 3D-Ready Extended HDTV

I did not purchase this specific from amazon, nevertheless have owned this for several weeks now. There are some pretty good reviews so I just want to produce a couple of points for anybody considering a purchase.

First, this TV is a nice good deal if you can find half off MSRP. It’s impossible I could recommend paying anywhere near near to retail. You just could get something for less costly than that with equivalent or better display quality. I bought this Tv set to replace a Panasonic 58″ lcd, primarily because I want to mount my tv and the plasma weighed 150lbs and this weighed only 60lbs. I thought i would go on and upgrade to the 3D Sony BRAVIA KDL55NX810 and the low vitality LED since it will likely be my last television for a while.

The picture on my own Panasonic was STUNNING. The image on this Sony is excellent, but i feel like their just not quite right with the plasma in terms of the color and the lucidity. The black amounts seem better though actually. Now, I have not had this appropriately calibrated so maybe that might help. I did make an effort to calibrate it myself personally using the Disney Whoa blu ray, but possibly I haven’t gotten the idea tweaked as well as used to the plasma. In case you are just now moving up for this size/quality of TV, it really is doubtful you would be able to find any deficiency in the picture quality. I was only spoiled I guess.

Now, about the 3D. The only real 3D i have had a chance to experience is through DirectTV, absolutely no 3D blu ray as well as gaming. In general the effect is very cool, however find that through direct tv anyway, there is a lot regarding ghosting which will don your eyes out Rapidly. It tends to be that particular scene will look totally awesome, and the next is going to be blurry and trigger your eyes to try and emphasis which ruins the complete experience. The spider may not be near as bad with blu ray, I seriously don’t know. But its certainly not ready for primetime through satellite tv. Also, your glasses are inadequately designed in my opinion. They must have a much large discipline of view comparable to aviators. Furthermore they’re somewhat constricting about the head. You certainly make sure you remember your are wearing them is my point, that is certainly a pretty major drawback.

Panasonic VIERA TC-P42X3 42-Inch 720p 600 Hz Plasma HDTV

This tv will be replacing a 07 year TC-P42X3 old Magnavox so it isn’t taking much for you to dazzle me. Men and women wrote about the glare but I didn’t have a problem with the idea. The picture is amazing and it was very easy to set up. The appear was actually a little far better in the old established. The major down side is always that the wireless is not built into the collection. You have to purchase the wireless adaptor separately if you want to supply Netflix or pandora and the part is the one other $90.00. I wound up getting a used a single for $35 that works completely fine but critically, if panasonic couldn’t build it in then they should have included it inside box. Speaking of this area. Apparently there were problems the TVs have been showing up busted because of rough handling high were no refunds for sets larger than 33 inches and this one particular was 42 inches.. Read the refund insurance plan BEFORE you buy because I didnrrrt. I stayed home from work able to refuse the deliveryif the idea sounded like shattered glass. Imagine my personal horror when I seemed out the window to see the lone Federal express guy flipping my personal set end more than end up my footpath letting it crash with every rotation. The sender packed the placed in yet another larger container and stuffed that with foam cushions and that’s the only thing in which prevented damage via such ape-like handling. Everything aside, it’s a good buy.

Samsung UN46D6300 46-Inch 1080p 120Hz Went HDTV

I thought I’d write a review since I spent so much time trying to gauge others opinions about the product, before purchasing. The offer I found on Amazon offered the TV and wireless lan adapter for “free”. Turns out they charged me for the adapter and reduced the price by the same amount from the TV…weirdness #1. So, I’m waiting for my TV and must have been in the shower and missed them, so guess what UPS does…They drop my $1000 TV off with my non-english speaking neighbors who I rarely see or speak to and have them sign for it! Talk about awkward… weirdness #2. I also did not get any text notifications that I signed up for until 30 minutes after it was delivered.
Ok, enough about that…Lets talk about the TV. Out of the box it looks beautiful, elegant and stylish. This TV is made to be wall mounted, the stand doesn’t do it justice. Initial setup was fairly easy. The back of the TV is totally HDMI oriented so, if you have composite or A/V cables there are 2 adapters that come with the TV that have to be used. no big deal, but different. I plugged in the wireless adapter during the setup and UN46D6300 was connected in minutes.
Picture quality for cable HD channels and Blue-Ray movie was amazing. Colors were rich and crisp detail gave it a nearly 3d feel during parts of the Blue-Ray movie. I haven’t done much gaming or watched any sports yet so jury is still out on the blur effect but out of the box settings seemed adequate. The sound works and gets loud if you turn it up…not much more you can ask for with this type of TV and I use external speakers anyway. (btw..there is a movie setting for the speakers that adds some depth to the sound if you are going to use them)
I was very excited about the Smart interface when I first opened it. The initial interface is nice with big icons and fairly easy navigation. The apps store was interesting and very much like what you see on your smart phone with a nice variety of apps…pretty slick I must say.
The absolute worst thing about this TV is the browser. I am an I/T guy and this totally awful to try to navigate. My guess is they did this on purpose to get people to buy the keyboard. I won’t go into detail, but my only option to make this usable was to take 10 mins…yes 10 mins to enter my top 5 websites and save them under favorites so I don’t have to type if I ever decided to use the browser. Browser aside the rest of the internet experience with the TV was very good. I was even able to setup Samsung Allshare on my pc (Had to call customer support to locate the software) and was able to stream movies and photos to the TV directly from my pc. Very cool feature once you step through it a couple of times.
All in all this TV was exactly what I expected. Stylish with a small footprint, brilliant picture quality, and steaming options that will allow me cut down on my cable bill.

LG Infinia 55LV5500 55-Inch 1080p 120Hz LED-LCD HDTV

I was deciding in between this TV and also the Samsung LEDs. The two looked good in my opinion. The Samsung picture looked a little better to me but it be more expensive and the reviews had been less favorable compared to LG. I think the picture is very good. There are lots of coloration adjusts so I will be able to get the picture collection to my preferences. Not really crazy about the force saving feature, that basically turns down the LED lights when the area gets darker, nevertheless it can be disabled. Your SMART tv works quite well, but as other have talked about it only has Flash v8 that practically no site uses anymore. LG says they aren’t planning to update the model. I don’t understand when it is a hardware concern or that they will not support any type of visitor plug-ins which makes the visitor fairly useless. Nevertheless the other features such as Metacafe work well, although the Youtube interface is much less difficult than the PC user interface. So, you are more satisfied attaching a PC to the monitor if you intend to be able to browse on the Television. The TV is very skinny, but it still weighs about like 50 pounds. The stand hooks up to the TV along with four bolts which is sturdy. There are 4 HDMI cables privately, none on the back again and the cables perform stick out the side since HDMI cable is rigid. The wire tie down can be on the opposite aspect of the HDMI contacts of the TV therefore unless you are using prolonged cables it is not useful. The TV does come with a couple of dongles and internet connections in the back if you aren’t using High-definition multimedia but I haven’t experimented with any of them. The remotes are ok. It arrives with two, one is streamlined at you move any pointer on the screen to pick things. The main rural has more buttons but some of them are way too close together. The primary remote also has any backlight feature. I find the actual sound to be satisfactory. It is no worse than any other TV We have owned. The frame around the TV is a touch large especially when compared to Samsung but not a huge issue. So far I have not experienced problems observing white letters on the black background. In fact I find that textual content is very sharp as well as simple to read. As considerably a seeing white-colored clouds on a dark-colored background, maybe a tiny but not much. We have attached my Playstation 3 to the TV via my Denon receiver in fact it is working without a hinderance. The one thing does trouble me the looking at angle is somewhat restricted but I can’t say whether is a whole lot worse or better than Samsung. Update: I just read in which LG uses 2 diffrent types of LCD solar panels and the viewing perspectives are better or even worse depending on which you 55LV5500 get. My serial # has the horrible AUSDxxx in the serial which people say is A Virtual assistant panel. Supposedly AUSYxxx or even AUSWxxx are indications for that better IPS panels. Screw me. Caution.

LG 50PW350 50-Inch 720p 600Hz Active 3D Plasma HDTV

This TV much exceeded my objectives. As many others have got noted, I as well was concerned with the fact that this TV was not 1080p. My parents personal a Panasonic Viera 1080p plamsa, and I would certainly say, however, that this LG plasma is extremely close in quality. I believed that images may not be as clear and also crisp as I needed them to, but I quickly found out that I had been wrong. From a cozy viewing distance of 7 or so feet, this particular TV looks incredible. The detail throughout characters of videos and games can be impressive. I jumped in my Avatar Blu-ray i was immediately earned over. The contrast between the lights and darks is great, and the black levels are very very good, which is expected from your plasma. The 600hz invigorate rate and rapidly response time make everything smooth, particularly with sports and video games.

The only problem that I have got7 with this TV is the fact that it does not make a excellent PC monitor. Anytime it is connected to any TV, the local resolution makes the desktop computer look a little large and mis-shapen, but when playing games from the PC for the screen, things look good. It is also nice that this monitor will accept the 1080p input from my gaming consoles and PC, so those search amazing as well.

Your 3D games look fantastic, but I cannot but comment on the quality of 3 dimensional movies. However, as a result of great 3-D games, I might have to imagine that a new 3D movie can be just as impressive. The particular 2D to Three dimensional conversion seems just a little gimmicky, but LG 50PW350 it does increase depth to your favored shows and movies. I still prefer the 2nd to stay in 2D however.

Overall, I would recommend this particular plasma. For the price and the inclusion of 2 free pairs involving glasses (when I got it anyways) this offer cannot be beaten. Excellent sound from the on-board sound system and equally amazing picture make me pleased that I bought this kind of television.
